Play with Clay is an interactive open pottery studio that offers pottery painting along side with fresh clay building.

We offer:

• Parties in the Studio:Play with Clay is the perfect venue for any party gathering for kids and adults of all ages. We offer you and your guests a comfortable place where you can socialize, laugh, learn and be creative.

  Play with Clay Parties allows you to bring finger foods, beverages, presents, decorate and of-course the Cake at no extra cost !

• Art Bus Parties:Private Parties in your Driveway or at any event...

  Your Party & Art Activities will be held on the bus where our Art Instructors will teach you fun activities. All children will learn different art crafts and will be able to take their art home with them. The Party Bus accommodates 8 to 15 children comfortably.

• School Programs: Fresh Clay building electives, Special event pottery painting (we come to you)
• Kids Camps: Where art and Fun Become one
• Pottery Classes (6wk Workshop, 3hr long sessions) Clay Handbuilding: During the course of 6 weeks, you will learn different hand building techniques such as:
  • Pinch Pots
  • Coiling
  • Soft Slab Construction
  • Solid Build-Ups
  • Molding and more.
  Then you glaze your own work and you are now able to take home your custom Masterpieces.
• Wheel Throwing: You'll take a spin on the Potters Wheel creating custom bowls, pots, mugs and more. We will teach you:
  • Centering the clay
  • Throwing clay (not literally)
  • Molding clay on a spinning wheel
  • Using your hands & water to get the shape you like…
  After the first firring you then glaze your work, we fire it one more time ready for you to take home !!
• Pottery Painting: Always open studio, over 150 pieces to choose from
• Handbuilding Workshops
