Come and enjoy a morning of fun & fitness
...And bring the whole family!! JDRF Waterloo, together with Andrea Johnston of Stretch-Fit, will be holding 2 fitness classes (descriptions for both are below) to start your January off right!! Classes are open to all and are by donation: all attendees are encourage to 'Pay as You Leave, for the Enjoyment Received"
9:30-10:15am - Fun-filled Fitness - for Kids of all ages: This class will be a ton of family fun, with a side of fitness! It will be 45 mins in length, including a proper warm-up and cool down. We will play some movement games, have the chance to compete in a friendly obstacle race & even learn a few funky dance moves to keep the heart rate going.
10:30-11:30am - Bring on the Sweat - Tweens, Teens & Adults: This class will be 60 mins long, and will combine some full body movements for cardio and some strengthening exercises for the whole body - especially the core muscles. The focus will be on having a whole lot of fun while we work up a really good sweat. (suggested for ages 10 & up)
