Welcome to KW Kids – the on-line resource guide designed specifically for Waterloo region parents and caregivers!

If you ever wonder what’s happening in KW today, tomorrow or one month from now, check out the KW Kids’ Event & Program Calendar! There are plenty of things to do for families with children every day in all corners of the community. Indoor and outdoor activities, family festivals, workshops, prenatal events, various drop-in programs, music, art - you name it, KW has it all! In addition to the Event & Program calendar, kwkids.com features a birthday party guide, a family outing & activity guide , business & organization directories, a seasonal camp guide and a lot more.

Originally created in 2007 by local mom, Jana Campbell, KWKids.com became the place that many parents and caregivers turned to learn about exciting local events and opportunities to visit with their children. The site and spirit grew and Jana strategically sought a community partner that was as passionate about children and families as she was when it was time to turn her attention to other ventures!

KW Counselling Services became the proud new parent of kwkids.com in the spring of 2011. KW Counselling Services has been serving the families of this great community for 60 years and we look forward to this new venture to serve our community, connect families and celebrate what's great in this wonderful region of Waterloo with you! We will work hard to keep you updated on various community events and important parenting tips. We look forward to hearing from you if you have event information or questions!
